About World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 (WAC2025)
The World Aquatics Championships is World Aquatic’s flagship event which brings together the six sports of swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming, open water swimming and high diving. Singapore will host the WAC2025, making it the first Southeast Asian country to do so. The premier event, to be held from July to August 2025 at Singapore Sports Hub and city precincts, is expected to attract over 2,000 competitors from over 190 countries and will host the best athletes from the top aquatic countries.
Alongside WAC2025, Singapore will also host the World Aquatics Masters Championships 2025, which is a mass participation event featuring five disciplines of swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming and open water swimming. The event is open to international and local participants aged 25 and above, and is expected to attract up to 19,000 competitors and visitors from both local communities and overseas.
