Sport Singapore (SportSG) recognises that raising a new generation of sporting stars requires more than raw talent. There is a need for structured athlete development programmes using the latest teaching techniques, led by trained and certified coaches.

Producing top-notch coaches is a crucial part of SportSG’s responsibility to its sporting community. A coach needs to not only know the sport inside and out, but also be able to properly assess each athlete’s ability to bring out his/her full potential.
